Steparty | Returned to form with good 3rd in G3 over 1400m at Caulfield last start. Has successfully raced at the highest level. Hard to beat.
Payline | Placed only once in 9 starts since last win in January over 1100m. Yet to win beyond 1100m but ran well when 4th over 1400m at Caulfield last start.
Media World | Racing well and produces his best over this course and distance. Good last start 5th at Caulfield and one of the main hopes.
Zou Sensation | Has won 4 of his last 6 starts and adept on all types of going. Trialled well since last-start win over 1400m at Caulfield on 11 October. Hard to beat.
Mighty Ulysses | Talented type who has struggled this preparation but has to be respected on quality wins both in England and Australia.
Warnie | Versatile galloper who finished strongly for 2nd over 1400m at Caulfield on 18 October. A repeat of that performance would see him in the finish.
Holymanz | Wet-tracker resuming here. Versatile galloper who has won twice from 5 starts first-up. One of the chances.
Regal Zeus | Resumed with good 5th over 1200m at Moonee Valley and will appreciate the step up in distance. One of the contenders on his best.
Coeur Volante | Much better than recent form suggests but needs to improve sharply on last start 10th over 1200m at Caulfield.
Depth Of Character | Scratched
St Lawrence | Struggled for top form since transferring stables. Has ability but would need to improve sharply to be a chance here.
Enxuto | Won over this course and distance in March and should be reaching peak fitness after 5th here over 1400m on 4 October.
King Zephyr | Lightly-raced galloper who continues to race well with 6 wins and 3 placings from only 10 starts. Charged home for 2nd at Caulfield over 1400m on 11 October. Respect.
Ndola | In brilliant form with successive wins, latest over 1440m at Caulfield on 15 October. Leading chance again here.
