1. 1800M Jump-outs Chute Usage Restrictions and Trotting Ring Grass Paddock for Overseeding Works 2025
Winter grass overseeding works will be commencing for the Sha Tin Turf Track and the Trotting Ring grass paddock from Monday 27 October 2025 onwards. The following arrangements will be made to allow for winter grass establishment at the 1800M Chute.
(i) 3 November (Monday)
The 1800M Chute will be open for stall tests, horses rated 121 or above and horses entered for Happy Valley Meeting on Wednesday 5 November and horses intended to be entered for Sha Tin Meeting on Sunday 9 November 2025 only.
(ii) 6 November (Thursday)
The 1800M Chute will be open for stall tests, horses rated 121 or above and horses entered for Sha Tin Meeting on Sunday 9 November only.
2. Trotting Ring Grass Paddock
The Trotting Ring Grass Paddock will be closed from Thursday 6 November to Thursday 20 November 2025 and this area will not be available for gate practice.
3. Feature Race Turf Gallops
The turf course will be open on Monday 27 October between 6.00 am to 6.45 am for feature race turf gallops and booking is required. It will be closed for feature race turf gallops from Tuesday 28 October to Saturday 1 November when the turf is mowed short for overseeding.
