French stayer who boasts solid form with a G3 win over 3000m and then a G1 placing over 3100m at Longchamp before a last start third in a field of five in the G2 Prix Kergolay (3000m) at Deauville on 24 August.

UK G3 winner in 2024 who looks ready to fire after three runs back from a spell. He finished off nicely for 4.78L 9th to Sir Delius in the G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) at Flemington on 4 October.

English visitor who is showing staying talent with placings at his last two starts at G3 level at Goodwood (2398m) on 2 August and then at Kempton (2399m) on 6 September. Big chance.

Versatile Irish visitor whose recent flat form has been solid with three placings at his last three starts with the latest being 6.8L 3rd in a field of four to Leinster in the G3 Irish St Leger Trial Stakes (2800m) on 16 August.

He finished third in last year’s Caulfield Cup and he should be ready to improve on his last start last in the G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) at Flemington where he was only 6.79L behind Sir Delius.

Classy staying mare at her best. She’s better than her last start 5.08L 11th to Sir Delius in the G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) at Flemington on 4 October when she missed the start by a length.

He’s racing consistently and is looking for 2400m. He led and battled on for 3.23L 7th to Sir Delius in the G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) at Flemington on 4 October.

Tough veteran racing well. Slight query at this level though. Fought on well for 0.5L 3rd to Whisky On The Hill over 2415m at Mornington at Listed level on 28 September.

Emerging stayer who looks primed to run a big race. He went forward and held on well for 2.83L 6th to Sir Delius in the G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) at Flemington on 4 October.

Japanese mare who finished 4th in a G2 over 3600m at Nakayama four starts ago. Last start she finished 2nd at Sapporo over 2600m on 7 September. Big watch.

He’s a winner of eight of his 12 starts. He carried a big weight of 130lb at his last start when 6.75L 7th in the G1 The Bart Cummings (2520m) at Flemington on 4 October. Previous form was excellent.

She’s suited by 2400m but she needs to improve on her last start 6.58L 12 of 14 to Sir Delius in the G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) at Flemington on 4 October.

Talented stayer who won the G3 Kingston Town Stakes (2000m) on 20 September, then he got too far back and ran on for 2.62L 7th in the G1 The Metropolitan (2600m) on 4 October with both races at Randwick.

Half Yours

He’s in form and carries a light-weight so he makes great appeal. Two starts ago he won the G3 Naturalism Stakes (2000m) at Caulfield then last start he finished 2.67L 4th to Sir Delius in the G1 Turnbull Stakes (2000m) at Flemington on 4 October.

Royal Supremacy

Group 2 placegetter in England who has hit his straps in Australia. He followed his second placing in the Newcastle Gold Cup by running on strongly to win the G1 The Metropolitan (2400m) by 0.77L on 4 October. Big hope.

Valiant King

He came from a long way back for an impressive 2.75L win in The Bart Cummings (2520m) at Flemington on 4 October when he was suited by the fast speed. He finished 9th in last year’s Caulfield Cup and this isn’t any easier.

He followed his win in the Benalla Cup over 2100m on 26 September with a close second at G2 level over 2400m at Caulfield on 11 October. He’s a lightweight place chance.
