He hit form last autumn with a G2 and G3 win. He will find this easier than first-up 5.32L 6th to Briasa at G2 level over 1200m at Randwick on 4 October. Hard to beat.

Rothfire

He didn’t have a lot of luck at his last two starts at Moonee Valley in G1 sprints where he has been trapped wide throughout. The latest was when he finished 5.45L 7th to Charm Stone in the G1 Manikato Stakes (1200m) on 26 September.

Golden Mile

Capable galloper on his day making debut for new trainer. Doing well in recent trials. At his last start he finished 4.42L 10th in the G1 Stradbroke Handicap (1400m) at Eagle Farm on 14 June.

Dragonstone

Handy sprinter who needs to improve on his recent form. At his last start he finished 5.04L 7th to Joliestar at G2 level at Randwick on 20 September. Suited here.

Coal Crusher

Speedy veteran who can be competitive at this level. He carried a big weight at his last start when he finished 3.48L 5th in a BM100 at Warwick Farm over 1000m on 6 October.

Libertad

Lightly raced sprinter who can pull out a big run. Last campaign he was successful at G2 level in Eagle Farm. He’s had two trials in preparation for his first-up tilt here.

With Your Blessing

He’s racing in great fashion. At his last start he led throughout to win the G3 Bill Ritchie Stakes (1400m) at Randwick on 20 September. He’s dropping back in distance but he still races well over 1200m.

Ostraka

Two runs this time in have been in stronger company. He will find this easier than his last start 4.59L 6th to Joliestar at G2 level over 1100m at Randwick on 20 September.

Sandpaper

This looks a tough first-up assignment. He finished 4.08L 5th in The Archer (1300m) at Rockhampton in Queensland at his last start on 4 May.

Caballus

He completed his last campaign with a Listed win at Scone in The Ortensia over 1100m on 17 May. He races well fresh but this looks a test for him.

Sha Of Gomer

Well-travelled Queenslander who won Listed The Ramornie at Grafton in July. At his last start he finished 5.9L third at Toowoomba over 1200m on 27 September.

Disneck

He recorded his seventh win at his 30th start when he flew home to win a BM94 over 1200m at Randwick in fast time on 4 October. He could run a cheeky race.

Fire Star

Rosehill win in a BM88 (1100m) on 13 September was followed by a 12th in a BM94 (1200m) at Randwick on 4 October. He will find this hard.

Beauty Charge

Former Hong Kong sprinter who won a Class 2 over 1200m at Happy Valley last November. He produced an impressive Australian debut when he finished 0.47L 2nd in a BM94 (1200m) on 4 October at Randwick.

Generosity

Former Perth sprinter who impressed at her second start in Sydney when she finished 2.15L 3rd to Joliestar at G2 level over 1100m at Randwick on 20 September.

Shezanalister

G3 placegetter who resumed from a spell with a 0.48L 2nd in a BM100 (1000m) at Warwick Farm on 6 October. She shouldn’t be far away.
