HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast a total of 12 races on Saturday, 18 October. These include five races of The Everest Day from Randwick Racecourse in Australia, Caulfield Cup from Caulfield Racecourse in Australia and six races of British Champions Day from Ascot Racecourse in Great Britain. Bets will be accepted* for these races.
World Pool will be offered in The Everest Day, Caulfield Cup and British Champions Day to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. For The Everest Day and Caulfield Cup, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Tierce. For British Champions Day, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast, Tierce and Treble. Under World Pool branding as one of the betting partners of The Everest Day, the HKJC has naming right for one race – The Hong Kong Jockey Club World Pool Handicap (S1-5).
Hong Kong Horse of the Year, Ka Ying Rising, will participate in the 1200m G1 The Everest (S1-2), the richest turf race in the world, with total prize money around HK$100 million. A jackpot of HK$2 million, topped up from the Jackpot Reserve of HKJC, will be offered for the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of The Everest (S1-2). To enhance customers’ digital service experience, the Club has introduced arrow markers in the “Last Race Replay” videos for runners in overseas key races. These markers are designed to help customers track the performance of their selected horses. Race times and betting pools
The simulcast races of The Everest Day are scheduled as S1-1 to S1-5, and are due to start at 12:25 pm on 18 October. Caulfield Cup is scheduled in between as S2-1 and is due to start at 2:15pm. The simulcast races of British Champions Day are scheduled as S3-1 to S3-6, and are due to start at 8:30 pm in the same evening. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

“S1”, “S2” or “S3” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box”, “S2 box” or “S3 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1”, “S2” or “S3” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs# and via Digital Channels**.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for The Everest Day and Caulfield Cup will be available for sale from 12:00 noon on Friday, 17 October. Tickets for British Champions Day will be available for sale from 4:00 pm on Saturday, 18 October. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
