HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast G1 Sprinters Stakes from Nakayama Racecourse in Japan as part of the Sha Tin day meeting on 28 September, Sunday. It will also simulcast Preis von Europa from Cologne Racecourse in Germany on the same evening. Bets* will be accepted for these races.
Hong Kong, China runner Lucky Sweynesse will contest the G1 Sprinters Stakes (1200m), and it will be partnered with local jockey Derek Leung. The Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of this race (S1-1) will be topped up with HK$1 million jackpot from the Jackpot Reserve.
World Pool will be offered in Preis von Europa to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. It will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast and Tierce.
In addition, to enhance customers’ digital service experience, the Club has introduced arrow markers in the “Last Race Replay” videos for runners in overseas key races. These markers are designed to help customers track the performance of their selected horses. Race times and betting pools
The simulcast race of Sprinters Stakes is scheduled as S1-1, and is due to start at 2:40 pm on 28 September. 11 local races will be held at Sha Tin Racecourse on the same afternoon. The local races have been scheduled as Races 1 to 11. The simulcast race of Preis von Europa is scheduled as S2-1, and is due to start at 10:00 pm on the same evening. “S1” or “S2” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” or “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1” or “S2” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
