The Hong Kong Jockey Club purchased one attractive youngster from the recent BBAG Yearling Auction 2025 at Baden-Baden, Germany for €160,000 (approx. HK$1.427 million).

Sold as Lot 43, the colt is by 2004 German Horse of the Year and Germany’s three-time leading sire, Soldier Hollow, sire of Group 1 winners Pastorius, Ivanhowe and Dschingis Secret. Soldier Hollow’s leading progeny in Hong Kong is six-time winner Bullish Smart, a graduate of the Hong Kong International Sale and 2013/14 Hong Kong Champion Griffin.

The bay has a full-brother, dual winner Quinto, while the yearling’s dam, Quantum Love, is from a family full of quality with ties to Group 2 winners Quelle Amore and Quantanamera.
