The Honourable John KC LEE, GBM, SBS, PDSM, PMSM, The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and The Hon Martin Liao, Chairman, The Hong Kong Jockey Club, officially open the 2025/26 racing season by striking the ceremonial gong at today’s Opening Ceremony at Sha Tin.
The Honourable John KC LEE, GBM, SBS, PDSM, PMSM, The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and The Hon Martin Liao, Chairman, The Hong Kong Jockey Club, officially open the 2025/26 racing season by striking the ceremonial gong at today’s Opening Ceremony at Sha Tin.

Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, Chief Executive Officer, The Hong Kong Jockey Club and The Honourable Alice Mak Mei-kuen, SBS, JP, Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region also officiate the eye-dotting ceremony.
