HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast a total of nine overseas races in Hong Kong on Friday, 22 August, including two races of Hopeful Stakes Day from Newmarket Racecourse and seven races of and Nunthorpe Stakes Day from York Racecourse, both in Great Britain. Bets will be accepted* for these races.
World Pool will be offered for both meetings to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. For races of Hopeful Stakes Day, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast and Tierce. For races of Nunthorpe Stakes Day, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast, Tierce and Treble.
Under World Pool branding as one of the betting partners of Hopeful Stakes Day, the HKJC has naming rights for the two races offered, namely World Pool Bet With The Tote Handicap (S3-1) and The Hong Kong Jockey Club World Pool Hopeful Stakes (S3-2).
The Hong Kong Jockey Club is simulcasting three meetings of York’s Ebor Festival, including International Stakes Day on 20 August, Yorkshire Oaks Day on 21 August and Nunthorpe Stakes Day on 22 August. In addition, to enhance customers’ digital service experience, the Club has introduced arrow markers in the “Last Race Replay” videos for runners in overseas key races. These markers are designed to help customers track the performance of their selected horses. The simulcast races of Hopeful Stakes Day are scheduled as S3-1 to S3-2, and are due to start at 7:50 pm on 22 August. The simulcast races of Nunthorpe Stakes Day are scheduled as S4-1 to S4-7, and are due to start at 8:50 pm on the same evening. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

“S3” or “S4” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” or “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
