1400m – Polytrack
1 |
    Chanel Gold |
Disqualified from third at Chantilly two starts back after hanging badly. Not as effective on turf at latest run but now returns to her favourite surface. |

2 |
    Rapide |
Opened her account two starts back at Dieppe. Her handicap debut (eighth) proved less convincing but she has been supplemented for this. |

3 |
    Chaldero |
In form this season (turf) and has a touch of class (sixth in G3 grade in June). Looks to be on a good mark. |

4 |
    Wind Of Change |
Apart from a couple of blips, the gelding has been admirably consistent following a busy campaign. Place prospects. |

5 |
    Blue Eyed Kate |
The Dieppe winner ran a fair race three starts back on the all-weather at Chantilly. Potential surprise package if building on that. |

6 |
    Verdansk |
Has been exclusively campaigned at Strasbourg this season for one second. Has won on the all-weather but does need to step up. |

7 |
    Karinas Dream |
Began the season with a win in Nancy claimer, but this looks a tough ask on the balance of what he has achieved since. |

8 |
    Kelly Key |
Put her best foot forward to win over 1350m at Lyon-Parilly on penultimate start but didn’t bridge the gap (sixth) to Class 3 class on latest start. |

9 |
    Master Pat |
Opened his account over course and distance in January. Has shown glimpses of potential in handicaps but more is probably needed. |

10 |
    Chop Val |
Has constantly been in the money in Class 3 handicaps/claimers, but the fact that he hasn’t won since 2023 is of concern. |

11 |
    Purple Rain |
Boasts some solid credentials following productive spell on turf, but now required to translate that form to the all-weather. |

12 |
    Thunderheart |
Won here in over 1500 (all-weather) here in January but overall career record (2 from 20) is modest. |

13 |
    Instruit |
The veteran underwent a mini revival in the May-June period (win and a second) but his best days are probably behind him. |

14 |
    Woff |
Was a real model of consistency earlier in the season. Boasts a win in a claiming race but below form on last three starts. |

15 |
    Paint It Black |
Tends to reserve his best for Deauville (three wins on the all-weather) and course record incites respect. |
