1609m – Turf
1 | Antipodes | First success on latest start when showing a good attitude on quick ground in a Windsor maiden. Second and third have endorsed that form by winning since. |
2 | We Dare To Dream | Has been kept busy but seems to thrive on racing, finishing first at Haydock this month, only to lose the race for interference. |
3 | War Socks | Has winning form over this trip in Sweden. Led for some of the way in a Royal Ascot handicap. Faded late then and drops back in distance. |
4 | King Casper | Won a 1600m Newmarket handicap in April but twice has found things more difficult off a 9lb higher mark. Others look preferred. |
5 | Point Of Contact | A narrow Newbury maiden winner in April. Two decent efforts since, latterly when a close fourth in a Haydock handicap. This trip looks right. |
6 | Sea Force | Talented but has looked tricky no doubt why he is now gelded. Finished well when third in an Ascot handicap this month, a career best. |
7 | Organ | On a winning streak, gaining three narrow handicap victories – most recently over this C&D in June. May still be well treated. |
8 | Cavolo Nero | Proven over this C&D, strong at the finish in a handicap here in May. His challenge disappointingly fizzled out at Newmarket. |
9 | Principality | Now with a slightly easier handicap mark, having struggled at Sandown on his latest start. |
10 | Abundance | Looks to be improving judged by victory on handicap debut at Newbury, delivering a fast finish in a slowly run race over this trip. |
11 | Transparent | Both wins on an all-weather surface – including at this trip – but capable enough on turf though raced too keenly when a fading fifth here. |
12 | Gilet | Looked to be progressive when a close second at Newbury in May but regressed from that at Sandown this month. |
13 | Impartiality | Kicked off the year with three straight handicap wins, also doing well despite a troubled passage when a close second last time. Stays this trip well. |
14 | Wicked | Race by race improvement from this colt who cost a tidy 600,000 gns. Absent since keeping on well to win a 1600m Sandown handicap in May. In cheekpieces here. |
15 | Sir Paul Ramsey | Took a step forward on previous achievements with a comfortable Hamilton victory this month. Raced forwardly then and may try the same here. |
16 | Kaleido | Yet to disappoint in maiden company, gaining his first victory impressively at Yarmouth this month. |
17 | Knights Gold | Like lots in here appears to be on an upward curve, surviving a rising handicap mark to win on fast ground at Bath and Ascot on his last two starts. |
18 | Canvas | Has been in good shape, and only just failed to gain his third career victory over a longer trip than this at Haydock this month. Races forwardly. |
19 | Atherstone Warrior | Ran a career best on his only 2025 start and first run since being gelded and for this stable when quite a close third – at long odds – over this C&D in May. |
20 | Winston’s Warrior | One modest run and two decent performances this season, latterly a good second over 1600m at Newbury this month. |
