G2 – 2000m – Turf

Red Maple Won well under a light weight prior to the long break. Has a chance if fully fit. Comes from a competitive yard.
Knockout Stayed on nicely behind She’s A Bomber and My Soul Mate in the G3 Tote Oaks. She is 3lb better off with the winner and can turn the tables.
My Soul Mate Touched off by She’s A Bomber in the G3 Tote Oaks but is now 10lb better off with the winner and 7lb better off with Knockout. She is also 10lb better off with Little Suzie who is also a big contender.
She’s A Bomber Kept finding in a tight finish to the G3 Tote Oaks but should find it a lot more difficult at the turn around in weights with Knockout and My Soul Mate.
Miss Platina Having her second run for a new stable. She is seldom far back but it is hard to see her featuring in this line-up.
Let’s Go Now Well below form at her last outing after winning her penultimate start against males. She is always consistent and has a money chance.
Rainbow Lorikeet Always looked to be out of her depth in the G1 Durban July. Was 1.7L back to Little Suzie in her previous outing after finding traffic. Looks well in at the weights and a big runner.
Lock And Key Has found form at just the right time and made all to win her last start. She is up in class here but does get first time blinkers which could be telling.
Vj’s Angel Has lost form since the cracking start to her career. She won on this course as a juvenile beating the colts in the G1 Champion Stakes. Her last win was back in October last year but she is never far back and steps up to this trip for the first time.
Mocha Blend Lightly raced filly with a lot of class. She has yet to finish out of the placings and stays this trip well. She does look held at the weights by the likes of My Soul Mate on their last meeting but is still under the handicapper’s radar.
Little Suzie Won the G2 Woolavington 2000 last time out under a handy weight. She has a lot more to carry this time around with a number of runners set to turn the tables. However, she comes from a very strong stable and has the champion jockey aboard.
Ice Rain Excellent form over 1600m and was far from disgraced when second last time out, giving the winner 22lb. This is her first time over the distance and if she stays she could be the surprise package.
Soldier’s Eye Steady form over shorter distance. She does look to be outclassed and should battle at these weights.
Indian Ocean Looks out of her depth on current form and has a tricky draw to boot. A win would come as a major surprise.
