The Stewards interviewed Mr D Hall, trainer of FIGHT TIME (H409), a declared starter in the aforementioned race, regarding the horse’s absence from the training tracks since 27 June 2025. Mr Hall informed the Stewards that FIGHT TIME had two demanding races over 1600M on 25 May 2025 and 22 June 2025, respectively. To keep the horse fresh for the upcoming race, particularly as it returns to a shorter distance of 1400M, Mr Hall opted for a lighter training regimen.

On 27 June 2025, FIGHT TIME was sent to Conghua, where it underwent daily light exercise in the Aqua Walker. The horse returned to Hong Kong on 10 July 2025 and completed light work inside of the Penfold Park this morning. Mr. Hall expressed satisfaction with the horse’s condition and confirmed that FIGHT TIME will again undertake light work tomorrow morning in preparation for the race.

FIGHT TIME is subjected to a routine pre-race veterinary inspection on 12 July 2025.
