HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast Durban July from Greyville Racecourse in South Africa, and Eclipse Stakes from Sandown Racecourse in the UK on Saturday, 5 July. Bets will be accepted* for these races.
World Pool will be offered in these races to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. For Durban July, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Forecast. For Eclipse Stakes, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Forecast and Tierce.
Race times and betting pools
The simulcast races of Durban July and Eclipse Stakes are scheduled as S1-1 and S2-1, and are due to start at 10:00 pm and 10:35 pm respectively on 5 July. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

“S1” or “S2” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” or “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1” or “S2” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs# and via Digital Channels**.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for Durban July will be available for sale from 4:30 pm on Friday, 4 July. Tickets for Eclipse Stakes will be available for sale from 12:00 noon on the same day. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
