2400m – Turf

1

Harbour Wind

Dropping back from decent run over 2800m on handicap debut and seasonal return at this track. The class act in the field with a Listed win over similar distance a year ago.

2

Star Harbour

Last year’s winner when rated 3lb lower. Must bounce back from disappointing effort last time but has otherwise been in decent form.

3

Mashhoor

Showed a bit more promise at the track last time and very smart past form. Should be involved at the finish but might need a bit more help from the handicapper.

4

Westminster Moon

The 2023 Polish Derby winner has shown little since a move to Ireland this year but represents a trainer who can never be ignored.

5

Lope De Lilas

Well-regarded filly who ran in last year’s Group 1 Irish Oaks. Still to prove she stays 2400m but well capable of improvement.

6

Cheeky Wink

Easy win over similar distance on penultimate start at Tipperary but life made more difficult racing off 8lb higher mark.

7

Cloud Seeker

Has risen right through the ranks and a model of consistency, winning five of last seven starts. Brave in a narrow defeat last time and primed for another strong effort.

8

Fleetfoot

Very promising in his younger days when close to top-class rivals but mixing hurdling and the Flat with little to show for it in 2025.

9

Soaring Monarch

Decisive winner over this trip at Listowel last September and now on a rating only 1lb higher. Provided more hope by promising showing last time when denied a clear run.

10

Ceallach

Five-time all-weather winner but still seeking a first win on grass. Gone very close on last two starts, suggesting it will come soon.

11

Zoffman

Infrequent winner but now down to a very attractive handicap mark if everything falls into place.

12

Lord Church

Faded late when strong favourite over 1600m last time, having caught the eye on previous start. Unproven over trip but trainer commands respect.

13

Mo Ghille Mar

Has struggled since landing a Killarney handicap nearly a year ago. Although now back to that same winning mark, might require a little more.

14

Beset

Cosy winner once finding a gap on debut for new stable at Sligo in May and decent second over 2398m at Goodwood last time entitles her to consideration.

15

First Ascent

Didn’t seem to quite get home over around 2600m at Down Royal recently. Maiden from four starts and this looks too tough competition.
