HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will broadcast a total of 12 overseas races in Hong Kong on Saturday, 7 June, including eight races of Derby Stakes Day from Epsom Racecourse in Great Britain and four races of Gold Challenge Day from Greyville Racecourse in South Africa. Bets will be accepted* for these races.
World Pool will be offered in both meetings to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans. For races of Derby Stakes Day, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast, Tierce and Treble. For races of Gold Challenge Day, World Pool will be available on Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Forecast.
Under World Pool branding as one of the betting partners of the two meetings, the HKJC has naming rights for two races of the meetings, namely HKJC World Pool Lester Piggott Handicap (S1-7) and HKJC World Pool Stakes (S2-2).
Race times and betting pools
The simulcast races of Derby Stakes Day are scheduled as S1-1 to S1-8, and are due to start at 8:00 pm on 7 June. The simulcast races of Gold Challenge Day are scheduled as S2-1 to S2-4, and are due to start at 10:55 pm on the same evening. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

“S1” or “S2” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” or “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1” or “S2” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for Derby Stakes Day and Gold Challenge Day will be available for sale from 12:00 noon on Friday, 6 June. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
