G1 – 2100m – Turf
| Anmaat | A former handicapper who is now a proper G1 performer, as he showed again when bravely working his way through bad traffic problems to bag a 2000m Ascot G1 last October. Chances. |
| Continuous | Positive that he is unbeaten in two starts at the Curragh, latterly landing a G3 here last August. His sole G1 victory came over much further than this and he would probably need longer to have a live chance. |
| Crypto Force | His two career wins – including a G2 – have come at this track though over shorter and back in 2022. Well beaten here last month, and plenty of others are preferred. |
| Deepone | Under a positive ride he posted a personal best when landing a 1600m G2 here in September 2023. Unproven at this trip, and, in any case, probably not quite good enough. |
| Ghostwriter | Competing in his seventh consecutive G1, without managing to win one but rarely beaten far and the three ahead of him on his 2025 return at Meydan all had a race-fitness edge. Likes fast ground. Possibilities. |
| Los Angeles | Plenty of memorable performances at the top level including his victory in last year’s Irish Derby (2400m) here. His brave defeat of White Birch in a 2000m G2 here this month advertises his good chance in this. |
| Royal Rhyme | Has not won for around a year, but he has been tackling red hot company and his G1 third over this trip at ParisLongchamp last month represents a strong start to 2025. Slow ground his ideal. |
| White Birch | A terrific performer who has developed a real affinity with this track as he showed with a superb performance in this last year, quickening clear late on. Just failed to catch Los Angeles on this month’s return, and needs taking very seriously. |
| Kalpana | Massive improvement throughout last year. She won her last three starts notably with her G1 victory at Ascot last October. She doesn’t need the soft ground that she encountered then and is a very exciting prospect for 2025. |
