The Department of Veterinary Regulation, Welfare & Biosecurity Policy have advised the Stewards that GOLIATH, which is entered to run in the FWD QEII Cup at Sha Tin on 27 April 2025, has a condition known as stringhalt, which results in the horse having an abnormal action with its left hind leg when walking and trotting.

GOLIATH has raced successfully with this condition throughout its career and has been passed suitable by the Veterinary Officers to present for its routine pre-race veterinary inspections to be conducted this week.
