1. The FWD QEII Cup, FWD Champions Mile & Chairman’s Sprint Prize Track Work Time-table - The attached track work schedule has become effective from Saturday, 19 April until Sunday, 27 April 2025.
All Weather Track
- The track opens 4:45am for local horses. (opens at 4:30am on Thursday 24 April with all supporting facilities open 15 mins earlier to accommodate dirt trial starting time at 8:00am).
- The large & small track closes for harrowing at 6:15am.
- The large & small track closes at 8:15am.
- The bridle path and the trotting rings close at 8:15am.
- The Olympic Equine Pool and trotting ring closes at 8:15am except 22 and 24 April.
- Barrier trials (22 April) on the All Weather Track commence 8:15am (gate close at 8:00am).
- Barrier trials (24 April) on the All Weather Track commence 8:00am (gate close at 7:45am). Only 1200M trials will be offered and the trials will be limited to 3 batches on 24 April.
- Thursday stalls tests (24 April) will be held at 7:15am.
- 1800M Jump-outs opens between 7:00am to 8:15am Monday, 21 April will open without any gate during the Easter holiday.
- 1800M Jump-outs opens between 6:45am to 7:45am Thursday, 24 April restricted to horses entered for Sunday, 27 April race meeting, FWD QEII Cup, FWD Champions Mile & Chairman’s Sprint Prize runners (quota not included)
- RTTC horses will not be admitted for grass works at the 1800M Jump-outs on 21 & 24 April.
- Afternoon gate practice and education inside the trotting ring paddock will not be available on Friday, 25 April.
2. Grass Gallops
- Local horses competing in the FWD QEII Cup, FWD Champions Mile and Chairman’s Sprint Prize can gallop twice on the grass track accompanied by one additional horse from Saturday, 19 April until Saturday, 26 April inclusive. The grass track will be opened between 6:00am-7:00am, (5:30am to 6:30am on Thursday 24 April) booking is required.
- Other Overseas horses can gallop twice on the grass, from Saturday, 19 April until Saturday, 26 April, upon completion of local horses work.
