RACE 2 – PEGASUS GENERAL

The Veterinary Officer reported that PEGASUS GENERAL was lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, PEGASUS GENERAL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 4 – KA YING VICTORY

KA YING VICTORY, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was found to be lame in its right front leg. KA YING VICTORY was again examined by the Veterinary Surgeon at the stables of Trainer D J Hall this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to have sustained an injury to its right front tendon. As previously advised, KA YING VICTORY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 5 – QINGYUAN STAR

QINGYUAN STAR, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. QINGYUAN STAR was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Hall this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg.  Before being allowed to race again, QINGYUAN STAR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s race meeting were shown to have no significant findings.
