Finished off last campaign with a 0.79L victory in the G1 Winterbottom Stakes (1200m) in Ascot. Has won 2 trials leading into this and has four wins and three seconds from 8 first-up attempts. Always a threat and thrives on a soft track.

Jimmysstar

Cruised to a 1.25L win in the G1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) and then was slow away and struggled in the middle stages before running home well for a 2L 3rd in the G1 William Reid Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley. Likes soft tracks and can make amends.

Jedibeel

Outsider who should find the top few a bit too slick. Was good winning the G2 Challenge Stakes (1000m) at Randwick on 8 March. Was beaten 5.06L in the G1 Galaxy (1100m) when had no luck. Good on rain-affected tracks and will get back.

Headwall

An improver who ran a big race in the G1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m) when finished strongly for 1.25L 2nd behind Joliestar. Adapts to any track condition. Had a 1050m trial at Randwick on 28 March. Has a big finish and is a place chance at odds.

Briasa

Classy sprinter who has won 6 of his 8 races. Resumed with an unlucky 1.76L 4th in the G1 The Galaxy (1100m) at Rosehill on 22 March. Was still last at the 400m mark and stormed home. Will take beating.

Sunshine In Paris

Claimed the G1 VRC Champions Sprint (1200m) last November to end her campaign. Didn’t have much luck first-up when 1.36L 4th in G1 Canterbury Stakes (1300m) when blocked for a run at a vital stage. One of the chances.

Joliestar

Struck some bad luck but was still good enough to win the G1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m) by 1.25L after being held up at the 400m mark. Finished 2nd in 850m Randwick trial on 28 March. The one to beat.

Magic Time

Finished 1.11L 7th in this race last year on a heavy track. Is a high class mare who resumed this campaign with victory in the G2 Expressway Stakes (1200m) and then 3rd in G1 Canterbury Stakes (1300m) when struck some trouble. Beat Joliestar in an 850m trial on 28 March.

I Am Me

Won a G2 and G3 last year before form tapered off. Suffered interference in first-up run in the G1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) when finished 7.97L 13h. Last two starts have been okay, including 2.54L 6th in G1 The Galaxy (1100m) on 22 March. Needs improvement.

Kimochi

Won the G1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) last November and then resumed with 1.15L 2nd in the G2 Challenge Stakes (1000m). Is an honest mare but this isn’t any easy assignment.

Switzerland

Exciting three-year-old colt who won the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) at Flemington last November. Had 2 trials and a jump out before first-up 2.77L 4th in G1 Lightning Stakes (1000m) and was then 3L 6th in G1 Canterbury Stakes (1300m) on 8 March. Had a 850m trial on 28 March. Keep safe.

Traffic Warden

Is a dual G2 winner who has had a jump out and trial since resuming with a 3.52L 5th in the G1 Lightning Stakes (1000m) at Flemington on 15 Feb. The colt has a good second-up record and is a place chance at odds.

Shezanalister

This is a massive rise in class. Has had 4 runs and 2 trials  back from a spell. Ran on well at last start when got clear to finish 1.18L 2nd in G3 Birthday Card Stakes (1200m).
