The Racing Stewards have been informed that KA YING GLORY (K247) which raced on Sunday, 30 March 2025 in the aforementioned race, had surgery on 12 March, 2024 to correct a “roaring” condition prior to its importation into Hong Kong.

It has been established that human error within the Department of Veterinary Regulation caused this information not to be published before the horse raced. The Club is now undertaking a full investigation to ensure that remedial measures are put in place to guarantee the accuracy of the process in future.

KA YING GLORY will be recorded in the Club’s published veterinary record as a horse diagnosed as a “roarer” and having undergone surgery on 12 March 2024.
