Listed – 1100m – Turf

First Settler Classy sprinter who loves the Flemington straight with two wins and a second from four starts, including G2 Danehill Stakes (1100m). Last start he finished 6.88L 9th to Switzerland in G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) in November at this track. Been jumping out well.
Band Of Brothers Racing consistently without winning in recent starts. Two starts ago he finished 2.2L 4th to Midwest, at Flemington over 1000m. Followed that with 2.11L 4th to Winnasedge in Gold Dash, Caulfield, on 15 March. Place.
Gatsby’s Disappointed at his last start when he finished 6.78L 14th to Joliestar in G1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m). He’s better than that as his fifth in the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) last November. Worth another chance.
Winnasedge Smart gelding aiming for a hat-trick of wins after two Caulfield victories. Last start he led throughout to win the Gold Dash (1200m) defeating She’s Got Pizzazz by 0.15L. Go close.
Sweethearted Sprinter with a big future. He’s won his last two starts impressively. Last start he was successful at Geelong on 4 Jan over 1100m when he defeated Band Of Brothers by 0.25L. One of the chances.
Alabama Lass Brilliant New Zealand filly who has won five of her eight starts and finished second on the other three occasions. Last start she won the G3 Kings Plate (1200m) at Ellerslie on a soft track by 5.3L. Before that she finished second in two G1 races. Go close.
Daggers Unlucky last start when he resumed with 0.75L 2nd to El Morzillo in Inglis Sprint (1200m) on 1 March at Flemington. He’s one of the main chances.
Hot Digity Boom Lightly raced gelding who has claims again on his last start 1.25L 3rd in Inglis Sprint (1200m) behind El Morzillo at Flemington on 1 March. Keep in mind.
Garnacho Stable is in great form. He raced well over longer distances in recent starts. He was a first-up winner last December in a Yarra Valley Maiden (1200m) last December. Expect he wants more ground.
Gallant Son Resumed from a spell with a top effort when 1.55L 3rd to Mystic Reign over 1100m at Flemington on 8 March as he was in the slower section of the track. He should go close.
Zourain Showed some talent over the end of last year in weaker grade including a Moonee Valley win in a maiden. Last start 3.07L 5th to Xarpo at Flemington over 1400m on 1 Jan. Prefer in something easier.
Recon Two starts for two easy country wins, scoring at his debut in a Benalla Maiden on 16 Feb and then a 2L win at Wangaratta in a BM64 (1170m) on 1 March. He faces a big class rise.
Amelita Talented filly. Finished on well for 0.75L 2nd to Clean Energy at Moonee Valley in G3 Don Casboult Classic (1200m) on 22 March. Flemington 1100m winner of G3 Red Roses Stakes in last November.
Jasmin Rouge Displayed a stack of potential in two career runs. At her last start she won the G3 Thoroughbred Club Stakes (1200m), Caulfield, on 16 Nov.  She’s been trialling well. Big watch.
Vestas Promising filly who had little luck at her last start when she finished 4.64L 7th to Private Harry in Magic Millions Sunlight 3yo Plate (1100m), Sunshine Coast. 0.75L 2nd to Amelita in G3 Red Roses Stakes (1100m), at Flemington in her penultimate start on 7 November. Take beating.
Rich Dottie Include in the chances on her last start 0.1L 2nd Scillato at Flemington (1100m) on 1 March. Since finished 1st in a Cranbourne jump-out over 800m. Another with claims.
Grinzinger Pod Demonstrated a lot of potential and tackles this first-up. At her last start she finished 2.4L 3rd to Sweethearted at Pakenham (1200m) in a BM74, on 21 December. Look for a good run at big odds.
Bridal Waltz Resumes from a spell. She creates interest on her run two starts ago when she finished 0.77L 3rd in G3 Red Roses Stakes (1100m) at Flemington on 7 November. Recent jump-out winner at Pakenham.
