| 1 | Zouatica | Won the Listed National Sprint Quality (1400m) at Canberra at good odds last start when scored by 0.08L. Form before that was average and can mix form. Is suited at the distance. |
| 2 | Flying Trapeze | Much better suited back in this grade after finishing last of 7 in the G1 All-Star Mile (1600m) at Flemington on 8 March. Is yet to be placed at the track in 5 attempts, but distance is ideal. |
| 3 | Green Fly | Will benefit from any give in the track. Didn’t have best of luck at latest when encountered trouble to finish 2.31L 5th at Flemington in September. Fresh for this after 2 trials and leading contender. |
| 4 | Kibou | Solid return after veterinary issues to finish 2 of 11, beaten 2.5L, over 1200m at Kembla Grange on 14 March. Won 2 trials leading into first-up run and will appreciate the 1400m. |
| 5 | Gravina | No luck in the Listed National Sprint Quality (1400m) on 9 March when held up in the straight but ran on well when clear to finish 1.39L 4th. Is usually thereabouts but hasn’t won since October 2022. |
| 6 | Les Vampires | Suited to this class and looms as the one to beat. Likes to race handy and was good taking out similar class race by 0.73L here over 1400m on 15 March. Will again take catching. |
| 7 | Cloudland | Can handle all conditions but will be more competitive on a rain-affected-track. Is second-up after finishing 6.5L 6th over 1200m at Kembla Grange on 14 March. Fitter and a chance. |
| 8 | Cool Jakey | Had race conditions to suit when won on soft track over 1400m at Warwick Farm on 5 March. Had a 795m trial on 21 March to keep him up to the mark for this. Leader who will take catching. |
| 9 | Rhapsody Chic | Only out of the money twice in her 12-race career which features 5 wins. Won 4 in a row last year and all wins have been on rain-affected tracks. Is first-up where she has an excellent record of 2 wins and 2 minor placings from 4 tries. Goes in with 2 trials. |
| 10 | Watch My Girl | Returned with 1.99L 5th in G2 Millie Fox Stakes (1300m) on 22 February at Rosehill. Led but faded in last 100m. Followed up with 5 of 12 in this class of race on 15 March when beaten 1.34L. In the mix again. |
| 11 | Bojangles | Tends to get back in his races but can push forward if necessary. Has been sound in both runs back for 2 seconds. Was only 0.73L off the winner at latest start in same class of race and distance here on 15 March. Chance again. |
| 12 | Nails Murphy | Has trailed twice after finishing down the track over 1700m at Caulfield last October. Is rarely far away and likes to race handy and can lead. Has never been out of the money in all five first-up races. Hard to beat. |
| 13 | Well Timed | Talented galloper who finished last campaign with 11th 4.65L in G3 Silver Eagle (1300m). Had 3 trials before resuming with 0.6L 2nd over 1400m at Hawkesbury on 8 March. Chased hard all race after settling 2nd. Top chance. |
| 14 | Dark Glitter | Has been racing in this campaign since last November so fitness isn’t a problem. Is capable of running a big race but is yet to win at 1400m. Ran well in G2 Millie Fox Stakes (1300m) 3 starts back when 0.18L 2nd. Can give cheek. |

| 15 | Danaustar | Second-up after running last over 1200m at Randwick, beaten 2.44L, on 1 March. Hasn’t done much since November 2023 when scored last victory. Soft track would help but needs to find rapid improvement. |
| 16 | Thunderlips | First-up and blinkers come off for the first time. Fitness shouldn’t be a problem with 3 trials leading into this. Extremely consistent and likes soft tracks. Big chance. |
