Runaway winner of the G1 SA Fillies Classic against far stronger than she will meet in this race. Will be very hard to beat.

Beaten seven lengths by Fiery Pegasus in the G1 SA Fillies Classic and has very little chance of reversing the placing but should place.

Gerbera

Ran poorly in the G1 SA Fillies Classic after winning two successive races. Probably did not handle the wet conditions that day but looks an unlikely winner.

Care Forgot

Finished 6th in the G1 SA Fillies Classic, 0.5L behind Gerbera.  Had decent form prior to that and could be a good outsider for a place.

Hat’s Queen

Another who ran poorly in the G1 SA Fillies Classic but had decent form prior to that. Should see out the distance so could place.

Todoque

Enjoyed the longer distance last time and scored a very easy win over 2000m. Lightly raced and is unknown in this class, so might be the dark horse.

Cocomelon

Has improved since fitted with cheek pieces and had an excellent last run. With Gavin Lerena up must have a chance.

Ancient Wisdom

Decent filly but looks well held by both Cocomelon and Fetching Flyer in the last start.

Fetching Flyer

Ran a decent race last time but is well held by a number of runners in recent starts. Would need to make huge improvement to feature.

The Mightiest

Just won her maiden last time and is hopelessly out at the weights. However, her trainer has an excellent record in this race so have respect.

The worst weighted runner in this field who has finished second in her last two races. Hard to see her as a contender.
