The Stewards have interviewed Mr John Size, trainer of BEAUTY ETERNAL (H008), which is a declared starter in the aforementioned race, regarding the horse’s absence from the training tracks between 16 and 19 March 2025.  Mr Size informed the Stewards that BEAUTY ETERNAL developed an infection in its left fore leg on 15 March 2025, which resulted in the horse requiring treatment and preventing it from working on the training tracks during the said period.  Mr Size advised that the horse responded well to the treatment and was able to resume training on 20 March 2025 and barrier trialed to his satisfaction on 25 March 2025.

Dr Bronte Forbes, Head of Veterinary Regulation, Welfare and Biosecurity Policy, has advised that BEAUTY ETERNAL has passed a clinical veterinary examination on 24 March 2025 and has been passed suitable to be presented for its routine pre-race veterinary inspection on 29 March 2025.
