The Hong Kong Jockey Club has granted a Jockey’s licence to each of the following jockeys to be available to accept race riding engagements as below:-

James Orman, 122 lb
James Orman has won the past three Queensland jockeys’ premierships and has a career total of 1,320 wins at a strike rate of 15%. Aged 27, Orman has won 33 feature races, including two Group 2s, four Group 3s and 27 at Listed level. Orman was born into a racing family. He was apprenticed to his mother, Carol Allardyce, who is a trainer. His father, Michael, was a jockey. A former elite gymnast, Orman made his riding debut on 18 May, 2013 at Nanango, Queensland and rode a winner at his first meeting on Shadowy Past. Orman narrowly missed winning the Queensland jockeys’ premiership as an apprentice in 2015-16, but claimed the title with 78.5 winners in the 2021-22 season. Orman also claimed the Queensland title with a staggering 197 wins in 2022-23, when he was finished second in the national premiership to West Australian William Pike. Orman also finished second to Pike in the 2023-24 national premiership with 161.5 wins, but won the Queensland title with 155.5 wins. Orman currently leads the Brisbane premiership with 42 wins. He has also previously ridden successfully in the United Arab Emirates, riding a career-best five winners at a meeting at Jebel Ali in November, 2023.

Richard Kingscote, 121 lb
Richard Kingscote is one of the most experienced jockeys in the world with 1,583 wins at a strike rate of 13% spread across several jurisdictions including the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, France, Bahrain and Turkey. Aged 38, Kingscote has scored four Group 1 victories, including the 2022 Epsom Derby on Desert Crown at only his second ride in the Classic. Kingscote posted his first Group 1 victory in the Irish St Leger on Brown Panther in 2014 and also triumphed at the top level on Havana Grey in the Flying Five Stakes and the 2022 Champion Stakes on Bay Bridge. Apprenticed to Roger Charlton, Kingscote had his first ride at Epsom Downs in August, 2004 and rode his first winner on Maystock at Lingfield in November, 2004. Kingscote is currently riding in the United Kingdom and has 42 wins for the season to date.

Declan McDonogh, 120 lb

Declan McDonogh is the winner of over 1,200 races and a total of 143 Group and Listed Races and was Irish Champion Jockey in 2006. Jockey McDonogh began as a trackwork rider for trainer Dermot Weld, however, is perhaps best known for an association with trainer Kevin Prendergast which returned his first Group 1 win aboard Rebelline in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at The Curragh. Based in Ireland for most of his career, Jockey McDonogh is a six-time Group 1 winner and has also ridden successfully in Great Britain, France, Japan, Australia and Singapore. His other Group 1 wins include the Phoenix Stakes, Vincent O’Brien National Stakes and Prix de l’Abbaye de Longchamp. In recent times, Jockey McDonogh has been aligned with trainer Joseph O’Brien; together they have won one Group 1, four Group 2 and five Group 3 races. Jockey McDonogh rode 2020 Melbourne Cup winner Twilight Payment to several black type wins in Ireland. He has also ridden for John Oxx and has represented Team Ireland at Ascot’s Shergar Cup.
