This morning (8 February 2025) LA FORZA, which is declared to start in the aforementioned race, dislodged its rider during trackwork and galloped riderless for approximately two laps of the Sha Tin small all weather track before being captured.

A Veterinary Officer from the Department of Veterinary Regulation, Welfare and Biosecurity Policy, has since examined LA FORZA during its pre-race veterinary inspection conducted this morning and passed the horse suitable to start in tomorrow’s race.
