Gallant horse. Durban July winner from the front. Stepped back last time when race not run to suit. Should have loads his way. Leading contender.

Whispers that he is back to best. Been unlucky at his last two runs. Fits the bill as an off radar chance. Good enough. Just needs to bring it.

Grade 1 winner in November. Fair G1 King’s Plate run and will be more effective over this trip. Trainer won this race before with London News and Smart Call.

Excellent last run. In the picture as a place chance. Never had the class to win a big one.

Always a doubt over this trip. Tries hard but not seen in the light to win under these conditions.

Could do anything on his day. Hard to read. Might have had his best chance of scooping a Grade 1 in the past.

Dual Grade 1 winner with tons of class. Not had an ideal prep. Ability alone makes him a horse to keep safe.

Most interesting runner. Three-year-old with loads of class. Distance should suit. Last minute call to run here. Could go very close.

Up many divisions but improving rapidly. Huge last run gives him a small chance.

Best horse in the race at his best. Horrible last run but is better than that. Back with rider who knows him best. Beaten at short price last year.

Looks totally outclassed. Would be a massive shock.

Champion Stayer of South Africa. Gives a big run when least expected. Not totally without a chance.

Career best last time. Deep draw should be no concern because he likes to go forward. Will be fighting at the end as always.

Runner-up 12 months ago. Deserves a Grade 1. In good form again and always worth respecting.

Top horse on his day but been a little underwhelming this season. Best over shorter.
