RACE 1 – DAN ATTACK

DAN ATTACK, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. DAN ATTACK was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Richards this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to ace again, DAN ATTACK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 6 – CLASSIC CENTURY

CLASSIC CENTURY, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was found to have bled from the right nostril and an endoscopic examination had confirmed it to be a bleeder. CLASSIC CENTURY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer M Newnham this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, CLASSIC CENTURY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s race meeting were shown to have no significant findings.
