RACE 9 – JOYFUL HUNTER

JOYFUL HUNTER, which fell near the 450 Metres, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was found to be a “roarer” which had previously been reported. JOYFUL HUNTER was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K W Lui this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, JOYFUL HUNTER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 9 – SUPER INFINITY

SUPER INFINITY, which was severely checked near the 450 Metres, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SUPER INFINITY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer M Newnham this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER INFINITY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s race meeting were shown to have no significant findings.
