G2 – 3115m – Turf
| Al Nayyir | Has improved since joining this stable, with career best efforts on his last two starts latterly when coming from the back to clear away from his Listed rivals on soft ground at Newmarket last month. |
| Alsakib | Delivered a career best on his penultimate start when a G3 winner at York, responding generously to pressure. Not so good at the same track last time. May stay this trip but an unlikely winner. |
| Belloccio | Last seen when winning a Royal Ascot handicap in June. However, he probably needs good or faster ground here, and in any case may struggle against some G1 class stayers. |
| Burdett Road | Not yet proven on the Flat at this trip. Led from the gate to easily win a 2400m Listed race at Newmarket last month. May try those tactics again, but likely to be mown down by higher class opponents. |
| Kyprios | This incredible stayer has won all six starts this year including G1s on his last four starts. Occasionally he looks under pressure only for his super courage and stamina to kick in, then clearing away from top class rivals. |
| Sweet William | A superbly consistent stayer who is yet to finish out of the first three in 14 starts, although well behind Trawlerman and Kyprios in this last year. In great form, asserting impressively in a Doncaster G2 last time. |
| Trawlerman | Involved in a thrilling tussle with the mighty Kyprios in this last year, winning by a neck with the rest way behind. Only two 2024 runs but goes well after a break, last seen when 1l second to Kyprios in a Royal Ascot G1. |
| Caius Chorister | Her rating improved dramatically from her early days and about a year ago she recorded her biggest success with a very soft-ground 2800m G3 victory at Saint-Cloud. But would be a shock winner of this. |
| The Euphrates | Proved his stamina for this trip, and didn’t look like being beaten once asserting in the straight for a valuable handicap at the Curragh last month. More needed. |
