To mark the 140th anniversary of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, the Club is holding the first round of the celebratory HK$70 million Mark Six 140th Anniversary Snowball draw*. Tickets for the first snowball will be available right after the draw tonight, 17 October, and will remain on sale until 9:15 pm on 22 October, to allow for more purchase time.

The first snowball draw will be held at 9:30 pm on 22 October and broadcast live on TVB Plus (Channel 82). As the draw will carry a snowball of HK$50 million, it is estimated that the First Division Prize Fund could reach HK$70 million. The second draw will take place on 28 October, and details will be announced after the first draw. The draws are among the celebratory initiatives being held in a campaign to mark the Club’s 140th anniversary under the banner “With You. Then. Now. Always.”

The Club has come a long way since its founding as a racing and members club. Over the past 140 years, its partnership with the community has thrived thanks to a unique integrated business model through which racing and wagering generate tax contributions, charity support and employment opportunities for Hong Kong. The Club – under the banner “With You. Then. Now. Always.” – has organised a series of celebratory initiatives to mark this milestone and recognise Hong Kong people’s contribution to its mission to act continuously for the betterment of society.
