Arare Tabashiru

After shifting to dirt last autumn, he finished 1st and 2nd in four starts at lower classes, including an open race over this distance and course in March. Finished 6th and 10th respectively in two recent group races over around this distance.

Arthur Tesoro

Has not tasted any success since autumn in 2022. Showed little since at this class and first time over this distance.

Blazest

Showed consistency to finish in the top three at 2 and 3. Displayed strong finish over this distance and course to win in March and showed upward curve in last two starts since returning from a 4-month break.

Definitivo

Showed a lot of improvement last time when winning a 1-win class race by 3L over this distance and course.

Derma Atman

Won by 3L at lower class over this distance at Chukyo in August. Sent to the second favourite but finished out of frame at this class (1800m) last time.
 

Derma Oshidashi

Both wins are on dirt. Won at lower class over this distance in September 2023 but has not tasted any success since. Ran 3rd at this class in August.

Erin Achilles

Won at lower class (1600m) on his return from an 8-month break at Tokyo in February. Well beaten in last three starts at this class.

Kanji

Won at lower class latest on his return from a 6-month break. His two career wins are over this distance and course.

Lily Bright

Has run only on turf since retransferred to JRA in 2022. Showed little in four starts this term.

Mikki Meteo

Has won on turf and in steeple-chase races. First run since 2nd in the JG1 Nakayama Grand Jump (4250m, turf) in April 2023 and this will be a prep race for his target, JG1 Nakayama Daishogai (4100m, turf) in December.
 

Ora Veritas

Finished well in third when moved up to this class over this distance in October 2023, but showed little since, including the last two starts on turf.

Shigeru Kamikaze

Finished on the board in 10 of 11 career starts. He stumbled at the start and did not finish well last time. Leads or sits handy.

Ungaisoten

Won a newcomer race (1400m, dirt) in January. Beaten in two starts before a  wire-to-wire win at lower class over this course and distance on dirt last time.
