Started out racing to the left, this filly was switched to the right, a move that resulted in her first win and a second, the only two finishes in the top three from seven starts. Excellent speed and coming off a second in the Nakayama 1200m early this month. Possibly poised for success.

Daichi Gem

Required ten tries before claiming his first win. Followed that with two double-digit finishes, the latest early this month over the Nakayama 1200m. Lacks speed. Likely outclassed here.

Ecoro Warm

Since breaking his maiden over the Nakayama 1200m, colt has posted a bleak 9-12-7. Speed lacking and likely outclassed here.
 

Glass No Blues

Colt has posted 4-7 since moving to this class, with his penultimate start over 1400m. Return to the Nakayama 1200m, where he broke his maiden in March, may herald a return to success. Competitive here.

Goreijo

This filly, which raced in NAR races as well, has best two 8ths from most recent 5 JRA starts. Lacks overall speed. Likely not competitive here.

Grace Carillon

No wins from seven bids at this level. Does have best third and fourth, the former over the Nakayama 1200m. Rain-affected track suits.

Grimoire

Has failed to perform since moving to the JRA circuit from the NAR. Best a sixth but mostly double-digit finishes and no speed. Likely not competitive here.

Irohanioe

This mare moved back and forth between NAR and JRA, but without good results at the latter. Has 15 races behind her, all over dirt. Likely not a contender here.

Kurino Samba

All double-digit finishes in three JRA races recently, including two jump races. Likely not a contender here.

Lava Glow

This filly rose from the NAR circuit and after an initial lack of success at the JRA races did manage to pull off a third over the Nakayama 1200m early this month. May be on a roll.

Meiner Directo

Results stand out amid this lineup. Notched a second in mid-September over Nakayama 1200m, best result since his first win earlier this year. Promising.

Place Dauphine

This filly has had a mixed bag of turf and dirt in her four career starts so far, with good results on both surfaces in sprints. Broke her maiden over the Nakayama 1200m and has a 2-7 since moving up in class. Good speed. Likely has a chance.

Stjarn Gosse

This gelding has made board in three of four starts this year. Not the best speed, but finished fifth over Nakayama 1200m early this month and could be competitive in this field.

Takka

One gear and below-average speed have brought dismal results except for debut win over Nakayama 1200m. Is prepped and could possibly get lucky amid this field.

When Doves Cry

This filly will race for the first time since January after switching from NAR circuit with no success from six starts, a mix of surfaces and distances. Likely not a contender here.
