| 7 | Quadruple | In great shape in 2024 – including a second here – under positive rides. Won a Curragh handicap nicely last time. Chance. |
| 8 | Zapphire | A smart UK-trained handicapper. Quickened nicely to win a fast-ground handicap recently but reportedly prefers a slow surface. |
| 9 | Vera’s Secret | Romped 6.5l clear of her rivals in a 1600m Curragh handicap in July. Couldn’t handle a huge 17lb weight rise last time. |
| 10 | Sumptuary Law | Returned from a break to win an 1800m handicap here in June. That trip may suit her better than this one. |
| 11 | Serialise | Disappointed here in July, reportedly in season then. Much better when winning a fast-ground Cork handicap in August. |

| 15 | Evening Blossom | Racing close to the speed, she has won her last two starts latterly a narrow handicap victory here. Elevated 5lb for that. |
| 16 | September Leaves | Best of six 2024 starts came this month when bravely winning a 1600m handicap. Wants good or fast ground. |
| 17 | Lucky Out | Only win so far has come in maiden company. An unlikely winner. |
| 18 | Nituna | Surged late to win a 1600m Naas handicap off top weight in July. Got upset in the stalls, never figuring last time. |
| 19 | Super Exceed | Looked to appreciate the step up to this trip when landing a maiden last month. A slow start didn’t help here subsequently. |
