UK-based globetrotter who won three G1 races abroad. Seems ground-independent and won over this trip at G1 level at Saint-Cloud in June. Has a favourite’s chance.

Fantastic Moon

Last year’s German Derby winner who has been largely consistent since but has twice had limitations exposed in G1 races. Despite that Derby win connections still ponder his best trip, but he has won here – a G3 – before.

Mr Hollywood

Second in last year’s German Derby, and largely consistent since. Won a Listed race earlier in the season beating Fantastic Moon but in receipt of weight that day. Needs soft ground to be at his best, which he is unlikely to get.

Tunnes

Half-brother to German-trained Arc winning hero Torquator Tasso, and one of the stars in Germany in 2022 when progressing to win a G1. Winless since, albeit been set some tough tasks. Would be a major surprise if features here.

Narrativo

Always held in high regard by connections. Corrected his bad run in the German Derby with an excellent 2nd in Hoppegarten G1 latest, though 5L behind impressive winner Al Riffa.

Spanish Eyes

A late entry with an eye on valuable Black Type. Finished second in the G1 German Oaks on only her third lifetime start, but this is tougher against the boys.
