$60 million mega prize to mark season opening In-play for Trainer Challenge and Jockey Challenge extended by additional race

To mark the beginning of the racing new season, customers* will have the chance to win an estimated $60 million in total dividends.

$30 million mega prize for both season-opening and first night meeting
For the season’s opening raceday at Sha Tin Racecourse on 8 September, total estimated dividends of $30 million will be on offer. A Triple Trio jackpot will be topped up with $10 million and the dividend is estimated to reach $23 million if there is only one single $10 winning unit. Meanwhile, the Six Win Bonus jackpot will be topped up with $2.5 million from the Operator Reserve and estimated the dividend could reach $6 million for a single $10 winning unit. Additionally, a jackpot of $1 million will be offered for the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool in Race 10.

For the season’s first night meeting at Happy Valley Racecourse on 11 September, there will also be a huge total dividend of $30 million. A Triple Trio jackpot will be topped up with $10 million and the dividend is estimated to reach $23 million for a single $10 winning unit. Additionally, the Six Win Bonus jackpot will be topped up with $2.5 million from the Operator Reserve and the estimated dividend could reach $6 million for a single $10 winning unit. Meanwhile, a jackpot of $1 million will be offered for the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool in Race 8.

Extended in-play selling hours for Trainer Challenge and Jockey Challenge
With effect from the season-opening race meeting, in-play betting services of the Trainer Challenge and Jockey Challenge will be extended. Selling for both will close at the start of the second-last race, instead of the start of the third-last race. The pre-sale time remains unchanged and customers can place bets at Off-course Betting Branches or via Telebet and Digital Channels# from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on the pre-selling day.
