This lightly raced but talented filly has yet to finish out of the first three in her five starts, and her victory at Goodwood last month represented a new personal best.

Has failed to win – and rarely looked like doing so in any of her last nine starts. Best chance of a revival on slow ground.

Has not lived up to some lofty expectations earlier in her career. Some quite good efforts this season and would surely have done better if not racing so keenly early on.

A consistent mare who loves this track and won this race in 2023, also finishing third in big fields here on both starts this year and not having much in-running luck last time.

With just one career win, she is so far proving a disappointment. Hasn’t made much impact this season and with little chance here.

Must compete off a career high mark now but has been in lively form, only just beaten in a handicap here before fighting hard to win at Wolverhampton.

Her connections will hope that the move up to this trip will help after some mostly disappointing displays, doing better though when a closing fifth at Ascot last time.

Another mare in this field that can boast strong form at this track. Returning from a 265-day break she made steady headway before pouncing to beat 15 rivals here in June.

Has the distinct profile of a progressive filly, boasting race-by-race improvement latterly only just failing to make a winning handicap debut at Goodwood last month.

Her three career wins were on all-weather surfaces and, soundly beaten on turf on her last three starts, her winning chances here look bleak.

Her handicap rating has become easier, and her close third at Redcar last month was encouraging. But not obvious according to breeding that this sizeable rise in distance will help.

Currently in great form if judged by her comfortable front-running victory at Lingfield 10 days before this. She looks to still be ahead of the handicapper.

An expensive purchase and with the profile of a consistent and gradually improving filly, latterly when a close second in a 1600m Newbury handicap. Up in trip.

Maturing with racing and she simply outclassed her seven rivals in a 2000m novices’ event at Windsor last month. An interesting handicap debutante from a brilliant stable.

Career best came two starts back when surging from the rear to win a handicap over Ascot’s straight 1600m. Chances of further progress over this longer trip.
