Angelo Buonarroti | A 1,000,000 euros purchase, who was in the deep end for his only start, finishing ninth of 22 in a 1200m G2 at Royal Ascot. Has a better chance to prove himself now.
Arabian Angel | Made a promising start to his career when – though no threat to the winner – finished second and clear of the rest in a novices’ event at Redcar in July.
Bambalam | A 600,000 gns 2yo purchase, this newcomer is bred to thrive at this sort of trip.
Bowen Island | Up to 1400m – which is a positive move according to pedigree – after two encouraging runs over 1200m latterly when fourth in a maiden at Haydock.
Draupnir | Out of a mare who has produced plenty of winners. But, unless strong in the betting, is probably best just watched on this debut.
Fajhan | A 90,000 gns yearling purchase, he is the first foal of a mare who won over 1600m.
Frostmagic | A first-time starter, his dam has already produced some smart winners.
Goal Line | A cheap purchase who showed ability when third in a 1200m maiden at Ayr this month. Will probably struggle against so many well-regarded types in this.
High Season | He made a promising start when second to a more experienced rival in a maiden at Beverley this month.
Hurricane Bea | Missed the break on his only start and could never get involved. A very unlikely winner of this.
Lever Up | Already a gelding, he is the first foal of a mare who didn’t race.
Realign | Made an encouraging career debut when second to a potentially very smart colt – who had already won a race – in a 1200m novices’ event at Newmarket this month.
Red Admiral | A 100,000 euros yearling purchase, this newcomer is bred for staying trips though 1400m looks an appropriate start.
Shah | Had his first start in a novices’ event over this trip at Leicester this month, showing inexperience but still running a decent second.
Sherlock | A 125,000 euros purchase who looked very inexperienced on his first start when fifth of six over similar trip at Haydock last month.
Spirit Of Summer | Shaped well despite showing inexperience on his debut when second of 12 in a 1400m maiden for newcomers at Newmarket this month.
Ultrasoul | A 200,000 euros purchase who finished strongly into second in a Yarmouth maiden in July. The winner of that has enhanced the form by landing a subsequent victory.
White Chapel Road | Has twice shown promise in maidens latterly when fourth at Goodwood, giving the impression then that the move up to 1400m would be helpful.
Thanks Angel | Related to some decent sorts but probably best just watched on this career debut.
Whirl | Beautifully bred and striking to look at, she made an encouraging start when fourth in a 1400m maiden at the Curragh last month. Of interest here.
