G2 – 1200m – Turf

1

Leovanni

Has looked very professional and mature in winning both starts so far. Latterly she showed lots of speed from the start when winning a 1000m G2 at Royal Ascot. Returns 64 days later, and up to a trip that should not be an issue.

2

Betty Clover

Has won two of her five starts including a Listed event – swooping from the rear – over 1000m here. Moved up to this trip to register a career best when a close second in an Ascot G3.

3

Celandine

Was a front-running Listed winner over 1200m at Newmarket on her third start. Just outpaced in a 1000m Goodwood G3 last time and York’s fast 1200m should suit her better.

4

Heavens Gate

Consistently good in her five-race career so far. It is not easy to lead throughout in a 21-runner field, but that is what she did in a valuable 1186m event at Naas this month. Looks to have a brave attitude.

5

Miss Lamai

Good efforts in all four starts, looking to do best last time when strong at the finish to win a 1000m Listed event on slow ground at Naas. Up to 1200m, which looks positive according to pedigree.

6

Perfect Part

Has shown plenty of speed on all three starts so far – and was a winner at odds of 125-1 on her debut – but is likely to struggle against such fierce opposition as she rises in class and trip.

7

Tales Of The Heart

Won on her debut and good efforts on all three starts since, latterly when rallying after getting outpaced to finish a close third in a 1200m G3 at Ascot in July.

8

Time For Sandals

Looked above average when winning over this trip at Kempton on her debut. Only just outspeeded when dropping in trip at Newbury on her second start, and this return to 1200m is surely suitable.

9

Unspoken Love

Has won two of her five starts, both on fast ground. Couldn’t make a serious impression on much slower ground when taken to France for a Listed event last month.
