Won G2 over 2831m at Royal Ascot in June then good second in G1 over 2400m at Longchamp. May prove best over further and with give in the ground but a leading contender.

Deira Mile

Most form at lower level but twice run well in G1s, most recently when fourth in Derby Stakes. Needs more but candidate for a place.

Front runner. Well beaten in Derby Stakes and Irish Derby and unlikely to be good enough.

King’s Gambit

Big improvement this year to be close second in G3 then G2 over about 2000m. Pedigree suggests may not appreciate extra distance.

Good second in G2 over 2392m at Royal Ascot followed by disappointing run in G3 over 2600m. Needs to resume progress.
