Three Dreams |
Is holding her form well after a busy campaign (13 starts) and plenty to like about her running-on third at Vichy from a wide draw. |
2 |
Adwan |
Continues to go well and challenged widest of all when winning here on the all-weather on 30 July. Penalised accordingly by the grader but clearly in fine fettle. |
3 |
Why Chope |
Can fall back on three wins in southern France earlier in the season, but yet to translate that form to the Deauville all-weather circuit. |
4 |
Braveheart |
Didn’t get competitive at Vichy last time and balance of form is overall modest this season, but he has been given some breathing space by the handicapper. |
5 |
Innovator |
Yard are often competitive in such type races. Not much to enthuse about on balance of form this season but has been supplemented. Betting will probably be the best guide. |
6 |
Kelly Key |
Beaten two lengths in a blanket finish (seventh) here last time but otherwise yet to recapture her 2023 sparkle (two wins). |
7 |
Oissel |
Pounced successfully in a Class 3 Handicap on the Chantilly all-weather two starts back, and subsequent effort at Strasbourg (second) was also encouraging. |
8 |
Sultan Of Swing |
Has been more out than in this term but not impossible for a place if recapturing the form he showed when third here in April. |
9 |
Total Knockout |
Hasn’t sighted the winner’s circle for nearly two years and has tumbled a fair way down the handicap. |
10 |
Pink Valentine |
Has been very up and down this season, but clearly capable (two wins this term) and she did run well when a close third here on Thursday. Also ran well third on this meeting last season. |
11 |
Falcon |
He ran poorly when last at Clairefontaine last time and that was a backward step from his previous two efforts. |
12 |
Just In Love |
Has yet to show the zip she did in 2022 and safely held on her reappearance run (11th) at Compiegne in July. |
13 |
Molino |
He was seen to good effect last season (three wins), but difficult to gauge this season on the basis of one solitary run when last at Pornichet in February. |
14 |
Addiction Dream |
Has changed trainers earlier this year after winning here in December but otherwise in poor form this season. |
15 |
Fraiche |
Left a top yard (one win) in the autumn of 2023, but change of scenery followed six subsequent unplaced efforts has failed to do the trick so far. |
