Should not have any problem with this trip though her narrow victory in a ParisLongchamp handicap last month was over 2000m. Needs to prove herself at this level but it is possible.

Alakai

One win from six starts, trying Listed company on her last two outings and doing best when a runner-up over 2000m at Vichy last month. Has hopes if she thrives at this longer trip.

Gala Real

Showed a good attitude when winning a Listed event at ParisLongchamp and then only beaten 4.3L – and not getting a clear passage – in a 2100m G1 Classic at Chantilly in June. She’s got some class.

Fleurs Des Bois

She has won two of her three starts with stamina looking to be her strongpoint. Raced from good position and ran up in the last strides to win over 2900m at Clairefontaine last month. Now rises in grade.

Tzarovskha

A 2400m winner at Saint-Cloud in June, then raised into G2 company at ParisLongchamp when she ran a close fourth, especially good as she had stumbled badly as the gates opened.

Darling Darling

Has won two of her nine starts but has looked vulnerable when tackling listed or group class. Her chances here look slim.

Le Combat Continue

Has won twice this season and been placed on the other three 2024 starts. A good second on her first attempt at Listed class, over 2400m at ParisLongchamp in June.

Vigatata

Won her first two starts and encouraging placed efforts up in distance and class in two outings since, latterly second – though no chance with the classy winner – in a heavy-ground G3 at Chantilly in early June. Absent since then.

Mosaique

Stays well and is consistent as well as progressive. She looks to have a good chance on ratings and responded well to pressure when second in a 2400m G2 at ParisLongchamp last month.

Comic Book

Improved from two modest runs when leading almost throughout to win a maiden at Bellewstown. The second boosted the form by winning since. Stamina not an issue but this is a sharp rise in class.
