Another who worked her way upwards and won a good handicap on her seasonal debut this year. That was early May though so the absence is a slight concern.

Second lowest on ratings, a two-time winner in 18 lifetime starts. Outsider.

Empore

Owner-Breeder and trainer combined to win the Preis der Diana – German Oaks last weekend; this filly ran in that last season too when good 4th in heavy ground. Not disgraced in three runs this year. Pipped as hot favourite in all of them though. Blinkers added for the first time.

Koffi Kick

Doesn’t know how to run a bad race and fully deserves a first try at this level. Shortlist.

Mountain Song

Team Godolphin, trained in France. Very good second in 1600m Listed event at Vichy latest and top-rated runner here. One of the likely favourites and a very possible winner of this.

Namoa

Lowest-rated and very lightly-raced 4yo filly, representing major German Owner-Breeder. Was fancied when near to last in a Hamburg G3 latest, only her third lifetime start. May bounce back and could outrun her odds.

Calyx Rose

Very lightly raced 3yo, a winner from two starts. Represents major connections. Sure to have more to offer but tough assignment here.

Donamay

3yo who raced only in France so far, latterly when third over 1600m at Clairefontaine. Form hard to weigh up but this looks tough.

Royal Night

Has competed at a high level but out of form this season, and whilst this is an easier task, she is hard to recommend with confidence.
