Irish raider, G1 winner at 2yo, finishing just 3/4L behind subsequent Arc winner Ace Impact in 2023 and one length behind City Of Troy in G1 Eclipse Stakes at Sandown latest. The Arc is the aim, but this is his first try at 2400m. Sets the clear form standard.

Slightly surprising winner over C&D at G3 level latest start. Yard in good form and supplemented into this, so interesting contender.

Two wins at Listed level this term, earlier beaten a nose in a Newbury G3. Trip no problem and goes on any ground. Roughly similar profile to Rebel’s Romance who took this for same connections in 2022.

Supplemented into this. Trained at the track and well beaten at G3 level over C&D latest. Likely to find the water too deep once again.

Mr Hollywood

Second in last year’s German Derby, and a winner at this track at Listed level earlier in the year. Good and close third over C&D in a G3 latest. Always runs his race but needs everything to fall right – including wanting some give in the ground – for win purposes.

Second behind Best Of Lips over C&D in a G3 latest, beating Mr Hollywood. Last win came in 2022 but that was in a G1, in Munich.

Sole 3yo who won a major Derby trial then finished near last in the German Derby itself. Always held in high regard by connections and should be bang there on ratings, but on a recovery mission nonetheless.
