Vicious Harry |
Was an impressive Listed winner here in April. Not as effective since after variously being tried in Group/Listed grade but not out of it. |
2 |
Coeur De Pierre |
Very smart French sprinter and noted running-on into sixth in G2 Chantilly sprint in June. Won this 2022 and could be peaking at the right time. |
3 |
Batwan |
The veteran has lost none of his enthusiasm and creditable fourth in competitive G3 here in July bodes well for his chances. Third in this in 2023. |
4 |
Mgheera |
Is going great guns at present and two placed efforts in group class proved the springboard to an easy Listed win. Clearly a major contender. |
5 |
Berneuil |
The dual G3 winning seven-year-old has fairly low mileage (25 career runs) on the clock. Has only been seen out once this season but clearly capable of improving on Listed sixth. Yard continues in good form. |
6 |
Madrid |
Has been in tremendous form in his native Spain this season where he has been on a winning spree. It remains to seen how well that translates in this context but not dismissed on current form. |
7 |
Tees Spirit |
He has been in good form on the British circuit (two wins in handicaps this year) and capable of capitalising if others underperform. |
8 |
Lesslepasser |
Continues to give a good account of himself at G3/Listed level, but difficult to see beyond an outsider at best. |
9 |
Pradaro |
Continues to prove competitive at both handicap and group level but needs to step up again if he’s to prove an effective force. |
10 |
Bradsell |
This high-class British sprinter was a G1 winner at Royal Ascot in June 2023. Unraced since September but clearly capable of making his mark if fit enough. |
11 |
Tazara |
Lightly raced three-year-old filly with interesting profile. Win here in April proved the prelude to fine second in Listed contest at Chelmsford (the third has since been G1 placed). Not disgraced at Royal Ascot on last start. |

She’s Quality |
The filly has been in fine form in Ireland this season, and she ran well enough in G2 company (beaten 3.3L into sixth) at the Curragh to warrant consideration here. |
