Looked an exciting prospect after completing a four timer in G3 at Chantilly in May. Couldn’t handle the big guns in a hot G1 at Royal Ascot last time but has the potential to bounce back off a 3lb penalty for his G3 win this year.

Confirmed last season’s promise with a win in class one race at Longchamp and freshened up for this after an absence of over two months.

Ghorgan

This smart German colt boasts classic placed form in his homeland and Italy, but more is required here.

Supercooled

This highly regarded type was a beaten favourite (second) in Listed grade last time. He remains with potential but probably more of a place candidate on this occasion.

No Lunch

This late maturing type is clearly heading in the right direction after creditable third in Listed company, but clearly not as battle hardened as some of these.

Hasn’t kicked on since G3 win in juvenile fillies’ race in last September and faces no easy task against the boys.
