G1 – 2392m – Turf

Auguste Rodin Has run a few of dismal races – including in this last year – but more often it has been brilliant performances from this six-times G1 winner, most recently overpowering high class rivals at Royal Ascot.
Dubai Honour From a stable in hot form as usual and he has an international profile that includes G1 success in Australia and, last month, over this trip at Saint-Cloud. A real trier who doesn’t shy away from a fight.
Goliath The slow pace in some top French races does not suit and the sedate gallop in a G2 at Ascot last time probably did not also show him at his best though still running a good second. Slow ground would help.
Hans Andersen Kicked off the season with a victory over this trip at Dundalk but soundly beaten at G2 and G1 level on subsequent starts. No winning chance and probably be on pace setting duty here.
Luxembourg Led 600m out in this G1 last year before fading into fourth, not one of the best performances of this four-times G1 winner who was right back at his best when leading throughout at Epsom in May.
Middle Earth A slow starter but can finish very strongly over this trip and further, as he showed when grabbing the money right on the wire in a 2400m Newbury G3 in May. May not be quite fast enough to win.
Rebel’s Romance This money-machine has won 13 of his 19 starts, following up from an unexpected G1 victory at Meydan in March to justify favouritism stylishly in a G1 at Sha Tin in May. A ferocious competitor.
Bluestocking Responds magnificently to pressure as she did when – despite looking an unlikely winner – her courage and talent saw her gain a first G1 victory at the Curragh last month. Wants good or slower ground.
Sunway Closed down 2023 with a 1600m G1 win on slow ground at Saint-Cloud, and showed he could also handle G1 company at 2400m when a fast-finishing second in a G1 Irish Classic last month.
