2000m – Turf

1

Queen’s Harry

Solid local raider running off a career high mark after winning his latest start at this track over 200m further. Top German apprentice claims 5kg, so not ruled out for in-form yard.

2

Jacksun

Busy 10yo who already raced nine times this year. Locally trained but rarely runs in Germany, last win almost two years ago and mainly races over further nowadays. Reduced mark makes him an interesting outsider.

3

Paris Mon Amour

Relatively lightly raced 4yo representing Champion trainer; winner over C&D three starts ago but found new handicap mark beyond her twice since. But the return to winning track under new top apprentice makes her an interesting contender.

4

Ashianas King

3yo contender from big yard not known for cultivating handicappers. Very lightly raced with only two starts to date (one win) and will be fascinating to see how he fares here.

5

Limbo Dancer

Another locally trained horse who has a good strike rate at this track. Top jockey booked and on a manageable mark, interesting.

6

Freibier

A popular local raider who won over C&D on his first start of the season. Good jockey booked but might be too high in the weights.

7

Tante Tilly

One win in 11 starts came over C&D in May under today’s jockey. Largely consistent, so she could be one of many chances in this wide-open race.

8

Elmos Fire

Ex-Irish who beat Tante Tilly over C&D latest, so now worse off at weights. One of three runners for his in-form trainer.

9

Heshima

Running well in lower class handicaps but on career-high mark that doesn’t make life easy.

10

Grey Darling

One win in six starts, all but one in Munich, where she is trained. With new trip and slight respite from handicapper, she could sneak into a place for shrewd local handler.

11

Kronjuwel

A winner of one race (at small country track) from six starts and slightly wrong at the weights. Early days but likely to be an outsider.

12

Poldi’s Liebling

Long losing run stretches back to around this time of the year, in 2022. On a handy mark, but not one to rely on and worst in at the weights (out of the handicap).

13

The Circus

Usually gets his head in front once a year, he is a three-time winner in 37 starts. Already scored in 2024 and not a particularly good record at this track. He is on a manageable mark though, and could spring a minor surprise for a place.
